A View from Moscow

Mendeleevskaya Metro Station.Anyone who has been to Moscow will know that their Metro stations are one of the main tourist attractions around. Each station takes the theme from it’s name. Our accomodation was luckily near Mendeleevskaya (Mendeleev Station), named after one of the founding fathers of the Periodic Table, Dmitri Mendeleev. Here is a picture of the lights, encased in a molecular lattice - delightful!  

I was going to post up the picture I took but this one gives a far better perspective…
